Coat hangers have been around since the 1800s.
And Simone Giertz just reinvented them.
She launched on Kickstarter this year and generated $500,000 in pre-sales.
The problem was simple.
Many people live in small spaces.
With closets too shallow for a regular coat hanger to fit.
Simone explained the problem using her own personal story and simple visuals.
Videos demonstrating how she didn't have enough room to open her bedroom door.
She then invented a new category of coat hanger to solve it.
Her Kickstarter campaign is a perfect combination of storytelling, positioning, and compelling product demo.
