Here’s a great example from the creator space 👇
For platforms like Substack, Podia, Ghost, and many more, a key differentiator is that they give customers full ownership over their subscription data.
This means creators can freely move between different services and take their customer payment data with them.
It’s a big differentiator that not all creators understand or care about, so these companies joined forces to create a “shared movement for independent subscription data.”
A movement to educate the market on this topic and clearly show potential customers which platforms are open vs closed.
