Hey #productmarketing people, our job is not to create pretty decks.

But at the same time, Google Slides is an important communication tool. And I want my stuff to look good.

For those that agree, I’m going to start sharing some of my favourite #slidetips to help you work fast and create great looking decks. πŸ‘‡

There’s a how-to video linked up in the comments as well.

I call this one the magnifying glass effect. πŸ”Ž Some call it the spotlight effect. πŸ”¦

Ever wanted to include a screenshot of your app, but highlight something specific in the UI?

You want the context of the whole screen, but want to spotlight something specific.

Arrows are fine, but they can be ugly, and still only point to something small in the bigger picture.

Enter the magnifying glass effect.

You can do it 100% natively in Google slides.

And it’s a great way to focus people on something specific.

Blow it up nice and big.

Want to learn how to do it?

I dropped a quick video tutorial in the comments πŸ‘‡
