An example of a well-used feature comparison checklist

LOVE this example of using a small feature comparison checklist to support a value statement.

I’m typically against dumping a checklist of features on a competitive comparison page.

But this example is using them as a form of proof to back up a claim Toast is making.

They’re also focused — so instead of a laundry list of features, you get a few relevant ones.

Take orders faster with fewer errors, especially during a rush.

How can Toast do that better?

✅  Payment processing insights

✅  Pass orders directly to the kitchen

✅  Forced modifiers to improve accuracy and upsells

All things their competitor (traditional cash registers) can’t do.

We covered this example in the latest episode of Compared to What.

A show where Federico Jorge and I review some of our favorite competitive comparison pages.
